How to reach EPFL

This year the workshop will take place in room BC.02.

From the airport to Lausanne

From the Swiss airports, you can easily arrive to EPFL by train. Finding the fastest way is not always obvious and we suggest you to check timetable on the excellent CFF website: http://www.cff.ch.

The destination you should enter is "EPFL" (From Renens and Lausanne, Metro M1, TSOL) or "Saint-Sulpice - Quartier de l'innovation" (From Morges using bus 701).

From Lausanne main station to EPFL

A metro station is located just in front of the train station. Take the metro M2 uphill, in the direction called "Epalinges" for ONE stop. There, transfer to M1 (departures every 10 minutes), with the same ticket. Get off at the stop calledEPFL. Please print the map from the website http://plan.epfl.ch/. The journey from the railway station to the EPFL is approx. 30 minutes long.

Coming by car

From Geneva, approx. 10 kms before Lausanne, you will have the choice between two directions. Take "LAUSANNE SUD". Then follow the "Route du Lac".

From Bern, you have to take the direction Geneva until you find a sign indicating "LAUSANNE SUD". Then proceed as above.

In case of problem

If you have any problem, do not hesitate to use the public phones within EPFL. Internal phones use the last fifh digits of our phone numbers. Our secretary can be reached at (+41 21 69) 33611. You may also try directly my mobile: +41 78 909 84 68.
